QUIK-CURE™ 5 min. Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals.
QUIK-CURE™ is the least temperature sensitive of our epoxies. It will cure in temperatures down to 40˚F. Temperatures above 90˚F shorten the working time before the epoxy begins to set up from 5 to less than 4 minutes. Full cure in less than 15 minutes.
QUIK-CURE™ bonds best to clean, textured surfaces and works on any wood. We use it in our guitar construction when we want a permanent bond where a short amount of adjustment time is necessary. We use it mixed with ebony dust or our Purflex Black powder for inlays. We use it to glue wood to the fiber backing for our rosettes and back strips. Don't know what we would do without it! I have used this epoxy for over 30 years with never a failure. It is the most consistent and reliable and useful epoxy I have ever used.
Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces.
